Hybrid – very flexible

Northampton

Permanent

In this role you will support the HR team across the entirety of the employee lifecycle; recruitment and onboarding, learning and development, HR process and systems and employee communications. You’ll enjoy a varied workload that could see you jumping from inductions and pay to supporting the growth of the apprenticeship scheme and recruitment.

You will support projects such as the 2024 Apprenticeship project, cyclical projects such as pay review, external benchmarking and supplier review for pensions and benefits and continuous improvement projects focused on systems and process.

What’s in it for you?

You’ll join a flexible business that run a true hybrid set up – 1 day or 4 days a week in the office, it’s up to you. You’ll have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of project areas and will be encouraged and supported long term to consider your CPD – be that getting involved in new areas to build your HR skillset or to undertake CIPD qualifications. The business are seeing sustained steady growth since changing direction slightly in recent years so you can expect to grow with the business and support growth related projects.

What experience do you need to have?

You’ll need to a bright, level headed HR Administrator or coordinator who is comfortable working with autonomy in a hybrid environment. You can expect to spend at least 1 day a week with the HR team but will predominantly work with them remotely, as well as supporting colleagues from the office or remotely so the ability to communicate effectively in both scenarios and maintain a well organised diary is essential. Experience with payroll, L&D, onboarding or basic HR advice would be super but we fully expect to not get all the boxes ticked – we do need to offer you some development of course!
