HR Manager

HR Manager

Chambers Talent

If you were offered a generalist role with a broad remit and little ER, working for a business with a super culture that continues to grow and that offers a properly forward thinking benefits package, would you take it? This great role is being offered on a 12 month FTC basis on a full time or 0.8 FTE basis and would suit someone that enjoys breadth and the autonomy to proactively engage with new ideas and projects.

HR Manager

12 Month FTC

London – Liverpool Street closest tube station

Hybrid 3:2

Up to £90,000 + benefits

Targeting end of July start

Reporting to the HR Director of this international service firm, you will oversee the day to day HR provision and support on a wide array of initiatives and projects to further colleague experience. With the support of 2 HR Coordinators and a significant peer group of CoE specialists, you will support a UK headcount of c280 across the breadth of the employee lifecycle, whilst continuing to advance the employee experience and support the business’ ongoing growth through talent activities and workforce planning.

Over the 12 month period, you will support annual cycles such as pay and bonus review, performance and talent review, and, with the reward team, work with 3rd party suppliers on renewals and changes. Given the nature of the business and the culture they have created, you will see low volumes of ER activity but what you will see will likely be focused primarily on absence and performance. The current postholder plays a key role in driving CSR and EDI activity and, while not a topline requirement for the post, it would be great to find someone who has an interest in these spaces to continue the work in these spaces.

The team use Workday HRIS and the postholder will own the relevant HR metrics, ensuring people data is available and informative. In light of the continued advancement of technology, the team have a continuous improvement approach to systems and, while there are no major updates or expansions planned, the postholder will observe and act upon any opportunities to streamline processes and create a better user experience.
