You’ll join an existing team of 2, supporting a business that was established in the last couple of years – no legacy challenges of expired systems and practices from times gone by, but not a whole lot of future focused structure in place either. Your role will be to support the HR Manager and HR Partner evolve the HR administrative practices and systems utilisation to increase workflow efficiency, drive better data capture and, ultimately, ensure the systems and processes better meet the growing needs of the business. Given the nature of the business and their growth trajectory, you can also expect to support on wider initiatives and projects to develop the HR offer and business culture.
Â
You’ll take the lead on all of the things you’d expect in this type of role; inbox management, contracts, recruitment coordination, onboarding, compliance and reward administration. Where are you expected to help make advancements though? The hope is that you will be able to streamline core HR admin processes, improve systems effectiveness and enhance data insights – does it require a new system or additional systems? You will influence that conversation.

What experience are we looking for?
You’ll need to be an experienced HR Administrator/ Assistant/ Coordinator, ideally with evidence of having delivered positive change to HR processes/ systems. Experience with HR systems and an understanding of good HR process is essential and experience with data tools would be ideal, especially Power Bi. Unsurprisingly, you’ll need to have good attention to detail and have good organisation skills (keeping yourself and the function organised).
Â
This is a small, growing organisation so experience of working in a startup or high growth environment would go a long way in getting up to speed quickly. You’ll need to be approachable, confident you can work effectively in a remote environment and be available on an ad hoc basis to visit the London office for company or HR strategy days.
Â
CIPD or similar qualifications to underpin experience would be advantageous, or a desire to upskill in key areas.
